Photos From Inner Child Day

photo of my toys, and photo of me with my childhood bestie, Hayley at her 21st Birthday.

What a fright! But who says spa days have to be dull and quiet, mine are a scream....

32 years old and no sign of inner child decay, yay, I am alive and well, are you?

We should never lose our childhoods. I don't think I ever passed 18. I'm not sure if that's good or bad but I sure don't feel what my b-days say I am. Where does the time go.

that's great, that is how you stay young! It doesn't mean you don't do the grown up things (rug cleaning, haha) but you still play, you still have cheeky moments, you still dream, and laugh... I hope you will always have that ability

Hey I'm 32 as well Starry and I am still a little kid at heart so don't feel too bad...I think that's what keeps us younger longer.

Hi Ang, I totally agree, and I never worry about my age, life is just too much fun!
what are you thinking of making next?
I'm using up all my buttons at the moment... I think all I see in my dreams are hundreds of tiny buttons!

Great photo`s Starry...
I only have one toy left from my childhood, a doll...She is a little worse for wear now as I`ve had her since I was 3 years old...I have her dressed in one of Krystals baby outfits these days....Krystal used to play with her when she was little too....
Oh to have a spa day, if only....One day I may find the time...

Hi Mandy, I'm glad you still have your doll, that is a great link to your inner child. I do hope one day you will have a home spa day, I like to have mine when home alone for an afternoon, and I have one rule, I do not answer the door for anyone! I studiously ignore it, and tell myself it is my right to not answer the door (especially when in a robe and covered in goop!). Maybe one day with Krystal you girls can have a mini spa. That reminds me I will be doing some home beauty recipes before Mother's Day...
well, have a great day,xxx Starry

Hi Starry! I love the memory shelf. Well that's what I call them anyway. I had one for years and years and just recently took it all down to make way for something new and fresh but I loved looking at it. I still have my inner child as well and enjoyed looking at things from my past. Hope that you enojoy all your trinkets sitting around as much as I used to mine.
Have a great day

Hi Robin, oh yes, I love my shelf, it is filled with favourite books, and then maps from travel, and of course the candles, toys, and framed photo. I seem to always live surrounded by meaningful things. I think most crafters have an inner child in a very healthy state! We have imagination, and can see the true potential of any object.
See you soon, xxx Starry

Have you ever thought of making a button fairy? That takes up alot of buttons...

Hmm I should do that, I had thought of making a floppy doll made up of threaded buttons with felt hands and feet...
